About the Author

Born and raised in a small town in Montana, Joe Anderson spent 30+ years in California, deep in the heart of the music and entertainment industry before returning to his native state.

In the 1990s, he was the keyboard player in a San Francisco rock band and ran a small record label that earned three Grammy nominations, making him uniquely qualified to write music fiction like Face the Music.  In 2001, he moved to Los Angeles and entered the movie business, producing the Miramax film On the Line and The Weinstein Company film, Lovewrecked.

Joe is an entertainment and digital media attorney, record and film producer, musician, and writer in Montana, where he is hard at work on his next young adult novel, Golden Gate Rescue, which placed in the top 50 of Tracking Board’s 2016 Launch Pad Manuscript Competition.
